Curious to know more about trends in higher education internationalization in Central Asia? What might lie ahead for academic mobility in the pandemic/post-pandemic era? How the pandemic has driven innovation in digitalization of academic mobility?
Then you will likely want to tune in to my public lecture Digital future? Virtual academic mobility and the prospects for change in higher education in Central Asia on 4 October, 13.45-14.45 (UTC +6). I am giving the lecture in person from the Amiercan University of Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and it is also being livestreamed.
Registration for the lecture is still open and available at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc0tI2dbdxYe1_8m9nqVb-9-JRibjI-5qsQmDfjHRqGGOUVTg/viewform (the Zoom link will be emailed to you upon registration)
My lecture has been organized by the top class team at Taalim-Forum, a Kyrgyz public foundation that is the lead partner in a multi-year large-scale IDRC (Canada)/KIX funded research project examining innovations in distance education and their impact on access to education and prospects for improving educational quality. The three-country project takes in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan.
On 5 and 6 October, you can also join an excellent international conference being organized at the American University of Central Asia (and also livestreaming). Details at https://kix.taalimforum.kg/en/conference.
Don’t miss out!
